Sizing, shipping, returns and how the scholarship works.
What does SAC stand for?
Second Assignment Clothing Co. The rally cry — JOIN OUR SAC. — is the joke and the invitation at the same time. Service was the first assignment; building what comes next is the second.
How does the sizing run?
Every product page carries the measurements for that garment. If you are between sizes on a tee, size up — the blanks are cut close through the shoulder.
How much of a purchase goes to the scholarship?
A defined contribution from every order goes to the nonprofit that awards the scholarships. The exact figure is published here once the contribution structure is signed off — we would rather state a number we can stand behind than a vague percentage.
When will my order ship?
Orders are made up and dispatched within 3 to 5 business days. Once it leaves us, delivery is down to the carrier. Orders of $75 or more ship free within the US.
What's your return policy?
30 days from delivery, unworn and unwashed with the tags on. Return postage is on you unless the item arrived faulty or we sent the wrong thing — then it is on us.
Is Second Assignment a veteran-owned business?
Second Assignment was built by and for people who served. Any formal certification is listed here once it is completed and verifiable — we do not claim badges we have not earned.
Do you offer wholesale, team or crew orders?
Reach out through the contact page with the quantity, the garments and your timeline, and we'll tell you honestly whether we can hit it.
How do I apply for a scholarship?
Applications are not open yet. The scholarship page explains how the fund works and how to be notified when a window opens.
